two things, for me, about this program: i liked the bsn ending. i did not adsorb it as a finale to joni's career but as a transition. i felt this ending as a segue to something else. just a feeling.
second, my husband was watching this with me and he was really impressing me with his knowledge of joni's discography... until ... the program seemed to be going along chronologically then there was a jump to the nrh years. my husband says "hey, they left out the dog album she did in the 80's". oh yes ... i gave him a look. "it is called dog eat dog, dear" does anyone else feel that things were left out that needed mentioning? within reason this is. heather -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Deb Messling Sent: Wednesday, April 02, 2003 10:48 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: woman of heart and mind So is everybody sobbing, or what? The ending made me cry. I feel like we're being told that Joni's career is over. That's not a bad thing, necessarily, but it's not easy letting go. As for the rest of the program, WOW. I can't believe all the early footage, and the audio of Joni singing some folk song in that beautiful, clear voice. She was amazingly beautiful, too. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Deb Messling -^..^- [EMAIL PROTECTED] ----------------------------------------------------------------------
