I never had the privelege of meeting with Wally either.
But when TTT came out, I sent a post about the USA Today issue that featured a cover
picture of Joni and a nice article about her and the CD.
Wally sent me a message asking me if I would send him a copy of the article, which of
course I was proud to do!
I remember cutting and folding that newspaper picture and article, probably as
carefully as if I was circumcising myself! :~) I remember being so proud to have
contributed even a small something to the wealth of what Wally gave so generously to
us all through his work with JM.com.
That's the only memory I have of him except for when I heard him sing "Woodstock" on
the "Tape of You" collection and feeling like the warmth of his voice matched his
heart...
