Like Bob, I never got to meet Wally either. I did feel blessed by the many
emails we exchanged, and the one time I was fortunate to talk to him on the
phone. I was so excited, it was as if I was talking with Joni. It didn't
take very long before he put me at ease and we were discussing Joni, the
JMDL, and all sorts of things. I still think of that phone call often, and I
thank Wally for starting such a wonderful and loving family. I also thank Jim
Johanson and Les Irvin for continuing to fulfill Wally's dream. I still miss
him.
