I had to share something I noticed about the movie"Almost Famous", which I saw last night. Did anyone else notice this little indiscrepency? They posted the date as 1969 in the first scene and the older sister had a fight with the mother and left to become a "stewardess". As she was leaving, she whispered to her little brother "Look under your bed, it will set you free". Under the bed, he found a whole stack of rock albums, which his mother forbade at the time. Among them was Joni Mitchell "Blue". As soon as it came up, my husband leaned over to me and said, "Look! It's Joni!". And of course, being a little know-it-all, I said, "Blue? In 1969? I don't think so." Cameron Crowe should know better. Great flick though. Later on in the movie, "River" is heard at a concert, but that's in 1973 - I'll buy that. : ) tanya in nyc
