i Actually like it when artists get bitchy!! I mean, how great is
that. I am never offended by comments like you have been discussing. I
think it is interesting to see the different sides of that person as they
are performing. For instance Van Morrison. I hear that his show are either
a showstopping even where he gives his all or a half drunk man onstage
insulting the audience.
Personally, I dislike it when performers say things like "oh come on give
a round of applause for yourselves!!! You are a great audience" I mean, i
dont want to clap for myself. I want to clap for them. I dont want to be
praised.. I am not saying i would wanted to be insulted at everyshow i
attended..but seeing a performer bitch is entertaining and insightfull.
Like at a concert in 1998 in fall with Bob she said something to the likes
of (if i remember the online review correctly) "fuck you. I am as good as
bob." I mean, that says it all. (eventhough that really isnt bitching, but
declaring)
okay. i think i am tying my tongue now.

ps: i think neil young has already covered all along the watchtower.. and i
AM tired of hearing people cover it. I mean, it is like the local band's
way of achieving notoriety.. "WOW! We covered Dylan.. we're on our way to
stardom"
