I saw a documentary on VH1 regarding the Go-Go's and it said they were reforming to do a tour. my response- oh god, save us!! Belinda Carlisle was the opening act at the Cher concert last year here in Dublin (yes, i can stand up in public and declare for all to hear that Cher came to Dublin to PLAY FOR ME). Belinda was really quite awful. her whole set had a distinctly eighties feel. one of hte band even had a red keyboard in the shape of a guitar:-) at one point she yelled "i'll now show you how truly talented i am" and then laughed. she launced into a self penned song, and rocked obnoxiously from side to side for the next four minutes. it was cringe worthy. that said, Heaven is a place on earth (with which she closed her set) was a lot of fun and got hte audience into a great mood. her other highpoints were Circle in the Sand, and that song that goes "suddenly i'm in too deep....". in all honesty, the biggest disappointment of the night was that Cher didn't sing One By One! GARRET np- Joan Osbourne, At Last
