I'll bite - on October 11, I turned 45. And responding very late to another poll, I live in Victoria, B.C., which is particularly beautiful on these Autumn nights. Forty-f*ckin'-five!!?? I still can't quite believe it! I don't act a day over16!! I toast my fellow JMDLers who were also born in 1955: it was a damn good year.... Three albums that defined my mid-teen years: Ladies of the Canyon, Mud Slide Slim, and Christmas and the Beads of Sweat. Joni has been part of my life for almost two thirds of it. Nothing comes easier than praising Joni Mitchell. Unless it is the JMDL itself. Thank you, Les, for this great gift! In January, I'll be visiting Boston and New York for the fourth time each. I'd never travelled to either city until I joined the list; my first visits were to meet people with whom I'd become friends via JMDL email. (The highlight of my last trip to London was meeting Colin and John). Now I am counting the days until I can spend time with people who have become close and dearly loved friends. Let us now praise the JMDL!! We occasionally have our differences. Our love of Joni Mitchell brought us together, but our interest in one another has made us a community. Go figure! love to all, Roberto
