You can feel your arteries clog just thinking about it. Seriously, we have a lot of cultures represented here, but I'd say mainly a German influence. We have a HUGE German fest here in the summer complete with hundreds of pigs roasting on spits. (It's a horrifying sight to a vegetarian.) I ate a lot of sauerbraten growing up and now I eat tofu! Go figure. Another local tradition is the Friday night fish fry. I think it started as a Catholic thing, but now everyone flocks to restaurants on Friday nights for all-you-can-eat fried fish, usually served with cole slaw, fries and bread. Kerry
