Gotta jump in here. The Flaming Red release is a MUST HAVE. She is
one of the best "new" artists, even though she's been out there a
while. I just got the new Aimee Mann Bachelor No. 2, the Last
Remains of the Dodo. That is great also. I have listened to it only
once, but I'm gonna go ahead and rank it up there with her first two
releases. (check out her website too!)
A couple more female artists you may like are Sara Evans' latest
release Learning to Fly (I think that's the title). This is good
down to earth stuff. She is labled "country" but is more than that.
Nina Gordon is a new girl with some real "gritty" good stuff. I
purchased it but haven't listened to all of it yet.The title is
Tonight and the Rest of My Life. Hope this helps with some new
stuff.
