To me the song is about happiness. "Everything comes and goes, especially
happiness. "Pleasure moves on too early; trouble leaves too slow."
No one can make you happy but yourself. You are responsible for your own
happiness, and no one, whether a long-term lover or a one-night stand can
make you happy if you cannot make yourself happy.
