Hi Carol and all,

I'm sure John Galt Jr. is a send-up of Ayn Rand's elusive character in Atlas
Shrugged.

Carol, the web page for the toilet seat control is hilarious, yet very sad
in a way, to know that society has become so depravedly unappreciative that
we consider ourselves above having to "touch" a toilet seat.

I can't believe something like that is for sale, but it is so appropriately
named -- the entire message of Atlas Shrugged centers around such ludicrous
wastes of human energy.

Any other Ayn Rand fans out there? I think "We the Living" is one of the
greatest books ever written.

And, Joni Mitchell's philosophy of life seems to be very close to Ayn Rand's
philosophy. (And, I'm sure neither lady would be so petty as to make a big
deal out of a toilet seat.)

Regards,
Harper Lou
