i had my ayn rand phase, but i found that the characters sometimes spoke as
if they were in a play. i couldn't help but hear ayn rand's voice
indoctrinating the reader all the frigging time. i liked the fountainhead
and also the movie with gary cooper. although i always come back to my
favorite writers [to the point that i seem to be reading always the same
books...and i am!] i don't know that i would read rand again.
''selfishness is a virtue; altruism, a vice'' ayn rand.

Any other Ayn Rand fans out there? I think "We the Living" is one of the
greatest books ever written.
