A lot of us on the list have bought Joni items from eBay. My experience
(and I think a lot of others) as an eBay newbie is to tend to pay way too
much for the items. For me, the excitement of finding all these neat
goodies in one place after so many years made me initially get carried away.
But after spending way too much on a few items, I learned that the key is
patience and resistance to letting someone lure you into a bidding war.
Just about every Joni item you see on eBay at any given time, will come up
again and again. Set a limit on how high you will go and stick to it and
play the waiting game. I've paid over $50 at times for songbooks that later
were commonly in abundance for around $10. eBay is really not too bad -
I've bought or sold over 50 items there and have never had a bad experience.
