Can we once and for evermore learn the difference between a statement of
fact and the voicing of someone's opinion which is completely subjective and
has a particular meaning to them which can misinterpreted when taken out of
context. For as long as I can remember, people have been using artists they
are familiar with in order to describe their music or someone else's. There
was nothing dumb at all about this post and that reply is illspirited and
unnecessary. Also, you've never heard this woman, Ramona, you know nothing
about her, for all you know she could have something of Joni Mitchell in
her, plus she is only 27 and maybe just starting out while Joni is 57 and
has had a career that has spanned her whole life. I'm sick of all these
superiority complexes that seem to be going around. Please try to be more
respectful of each other everybody.
