LOL - this is one of the funniest things I've heard in
a long time! They're blaming some of the weird
weather we've had here (cool, rainy summer; a winter
that arrived too early, too cold and with too much
snow) on something called the Hudson Bay Vortex. Now,
really, people, has any of you ever heard of this
so-called vortex before now? A few years ago, it was
El Nino this, and El Nino that. Then they came up
with La Nina - if El Nino is named after the baby
Jesus, who the heck is La Nina - his twin sister? And
what exactly is Global Warming, anyway? I think we're
just going through a cycle and if you were able to
look at it over a long period of time, it would evolve
into some kind of pattern that we just can't see
because we're too close to it. Let's face it, weather
pretty much sucks, especially at home. How often do
you hear anyone saying, "The weather here has been
really great. Not too hot, not too cold, just the
right amount of rain, and my allergies haven't been
bothering me for ages!"
