I have a similar experience with "The Magdalene
Laundries." In the dark, and this year glacial
temperatures of the midwest winter evenings, I pass by
the St. Louis Cathedral Basilica each night on my way
home from work. Whenever I'm playing TI, "TML" comes
on just about that time. Now, the Basilica is this
immense grey stone Romanesque structure, and is home
to a rather large murder or crows, as well as a
substantial colony of bats. So imagine if you will,
the haunting strains of "TML" playing as huge numbers
of giant crows wheel skywards cawing, while underneath
them, the bats stream down from the Basilica belfries
sending out their high-pitched echolocation calls.
Needless to say, it puts a whole new twist on the
experience!
