For the record, I wasn't belittling the Tribute CD's in any way when I said
I'd like to see the "official" version! Bob has done a great job, I'm just
curious to see how these artists handle the songs in a studio, rather than a
concert setting, ie. the TNT show (which I haven't seen or heard either)!

My way of thinking is, any Joni is good Joni, and while of course I'd rather
have a whole album of originals, I won't turn up my nose at any new release
Joni sees fit to make! And since she's made mention of this Xmas album
several times, I thought it was far more likely than a new original album.
In actual fact I agree with Bob, and don't think we'll see anything next
year (more's the pity) but it's nice to hope!
