Well, I already put my picks in for the post-WTRF list, but now I'm going to
submit Lindsey's favorites( keep in mind folks, she's 7 and has a mild form of
autism)You know, I actually think her autism heightens her appreciation of
music, which they now use as therapy for it because they've found autistic
children have trouble interpreting speech, but not when it's in the form of
music.Lindsey, thank God , is able to speak, although more on the level of a 4
yr. old, instead of a 7 yr. old.But she sure can communicate when it comes to
JM.She'll go through my CD's every morning before school, & select the one she
wants to hear, then SINGS me snippets of the song she wants to hear-- today,
for example, she pulls out C&S, and starts singing "Troubled Child", which she
loves, so I play it. She happily got dressed& ate breakfast . Last night, in
the tub, she started singing , " In France They Kiss on Main Street" and sings
the "Downtown" part quite loudly, & then sang the rest of it with Mommy
helping her.She LOVES watching Joni on video, and sings along, of course, then
goes up to the screen & KISSES Joni. So I say to her, "Lindsey, do you love
Joni like Mommy does?" and she says, " Yes, Mommy, Lindsey looooves Joni !"
She is just too adorable for words. Joni, I'm sure, would love her, too.

                                              LINDSEY'S post-WTRF PICKS:
