I'm sure this is so, Megan...talking about our favorite Joni moments of the
year, one of mine would surely be the story of Emil, the boy in the
wheelchair, that got to meet Joni at the Mendel, and she knelt down and
spoke to him and he said some something to the effect of "We even have one
of your records", or something like that...anyway, I cried when I read it
and it was one of the most touching things I read all year and further
proof that Joni is indeed worth the pedestal we put her on...
And I was delighted this week to hear my own 14-year old singing "I could
drink a case of you, and I would still be on my feet, I would still be on
my feet". Hopefully he wasn't talking about King Cobra! :~)
