It is always interesting to read on this list how some have different reactions to all of Lady J's Music to date. I graduated from a Detroit High school in 71 with a draft number so low it would sent me to Nam in Heart beat a year earlier. So as a DEtroit kid i was walking around exposed to folkbluesjazzacidrocksoul,since i was already in love with Joni since my testosterone started humming i could never be unfaithful. Every Metaphoric Metamorphic Departure from Folk was totally enjoyed.When the Hissing of Summer Lawns came out i really dug all the sounds The jet plane landing,the jungle drums. The symbolic lyrics, sacred chanting and the Jazzy flashes.
