this came up on the daniel lanois list a few times - i do believe some of
the discs out there are defective. if you liked 'spyboy' and 'wrecking
ball', she really doesn't sound much different than on those two records.
at first i wasn't sure how much i liked this album - at first listen the
production seemed like lanois imitation that missed the mark - but it has
grown on me to the point (as another lister mentioned) that it's surpassing
'wrecking ball' as my favorite emmylou album.
