I must have missed the revelation about Jose Feliciano being the "diamond
dog, carrying a cup and a cane." And I think the "looking through a double
glass, looking at too much pride and too much shame" might have to do with
him not actually seeing, but wearing glasses and yet his 'sight' being
introspective.

The talk about Ronne Blakely has reminded me of a song she did called
"Gabriel." Does anyone else remember it? It came out in the early to mid
70s.

I'd always thought that "A Case of You" was about James Taylor. And I
thought the woman "with a mouth like yours" was James' mother, who, as I've
said before on the list, was quite fond of Joni.
