Hi Victor - it is very tempting to agree with your explanation. (I do agree that there
is
much of the positive and happy to discuss). However, I guess I don't agree in full.
Polititcal threads, sexuality threads, to name but two have gone on and on and on
-frequently.
It is obvious from what does get written that not everybody wants to be positive, and
that
some actually enjoy being offensive and rude, even going out to their way to do so,
finding fault with the most benign posts.
You may be right in that people are disturbed by this slaughter but I don't think the
reasons you give for it not being mentioned hold water. i wish it did.
As an aside, I am sure one of the reasons we tend to think that the world is such a bad
place is because we are bomabrded by bad news! GOOD news is not news! Just imagine the
difference to us if our news bulletins were full of the miracles that take place
everyday?
Full of the generosity and strength and courage of ordinary everyday people? we might
then
see a turnaround in our consciousness. it is very difficult to keep a postive mind
when we
are saturated with the negative all day everyday, from the news to adverts. Adverts
being
really quite pernicious in it's constant theme of people not being good enough. Anti
ageing cream ads are just an example of the sickness we are exposed to daily.
