Oh, yes, it's incredibly beautiful here in NYC. Usually I'm driven to work since
I have to get there so early on the weekend, but there was at least 6 inches of
snow and no cars or drivers available, so I walked to the subway this morning.
The sun was barely up and the snow was coming down heavily and the city was so
quiet and draped and softened by all the untouched snow. And everyone I met,
especially in the well-lit warm bakery on the way, was in very good spirits. I
think we all felt like adventurers in a magical wonderland.
WallyK, I thought of you and sent chilly thoughts (visual, not emotional ones)
your way. I hope they arrived. :-)
