While Paz is still dancing in the sreets over the New Orleasns Saints'
first play-off win ever and Lori is abounding is Oregon Ducks joy and
Penny is consoling her Rams pain with astounding football grace for
others...
... the New Years Days bowl games are about to begin and today the big
bowl game for me is the Citrus Bowl, my Michigan Wolverines versus the
Auburn whatever they are. That will be my tense 3 1/2 hours today... so
from 1 pm EST to whatever, just picture me glued to the front of the tv,
sound off, with the UM radio station on, listening to beloved
broadcaster Tom Hemingway's last game before retirement (and tears
running down my cheeks over that!), and singing Hail to the Victors! and
Lets Go Blue! and if you saw the large Michigan Go Blue blanket I use as
a wall hanging in my living room, you'd realize my decorating scheme is
revealing of my child-like fan-dom... (there is a Joni and Janis Joplin
wall...)...
so, Happy New Years to All and to all a good bowl!
(I mean a good bowl game but won't criticise anyone for having a good
bowl of whatever they fill their pipe with)
