How true! And they also will never go near the places you want them to like
their own little bed or a new scratch post after the old one has been
shredded to bits.
The only advice I can add is to buy her lots of toys (she will probably
choose just one and disregard the rest) feed her cat treats often, and drug
her every now and then with some high end catnip. I've found that paying
special attention to the cat on a regular basis goes a long way toward
preventing mischievious behavior. Oh and don't ever use flea powder or those
nasty chemical flea collars - they can poison her. You can get great
organic and natural products that work just as effectively these days.
Congratulations on your new "Joni," Lama! What does she look like? Blond
with high cheekbones? ;-)
