New to this list and am a bit overwhelmed by the sheer
volume of postings!
I'll provide the customary biographical info later,
I'm about to leave to meet a freind for lunch.
Anyways, I wanted to comment on the post about Free
Man in Paris being about David Geffen. I seem to
recall hearing someone (Joni?) on the radio years ago
talking about that song, and how it's about Jacque
Brel. I've always had that idea in my head as I've
listened to that paritcular song. I don't know much
about Brel, he was a French songwriter, quite famous
in the '60's (I think). I believe he died in the early
'80's. I could be very wrong on this!
