Yes, that is a great story about Stills & Hendrix... I look at those photos with such envy!!! The thing that gets me is that I was sooooo close (time & place wise), I just didn't know about that scene at the time, not they would have let me in!!! Especially if Peter Sellers was turned away! Kakki were you in LA then? Did you know about all that stuff or maybe it was in hindsight we have learned of all these get togethers, via Henry Diltz photos, etc. I was up in Santa Barbara, on the mountain, doing a similar musical thing though, we just weren't rich or famous! And in those days, SB was light years away from LA it seemed....(though I do have a friend who grew up here who told me that once she had a big party & a very obnoxious Jim Morrison showed up at her door...) hell said, "the parties that John and Michelle Phillips used to have in LA (I think it was Laurel Canyon, but that may have been Cass Elliot)"
