Hell, don't put on that flame-retardant jump suit for moi. As an old fart, I have a
terrible confession to make: I thought early Joni was impossibly wimpy. I thought she
was a nifty-enough person, you understand, coming down from Canada to grace us, but
her music and her voice left me cold. Very cold.
