And from someone else who's tried (and failed many times), it's just not
that easy.  Also, the longer you do it, the harder it gets.  And if you've
got an "addictive" or as Jim says, "compulsive" personality, it does become
even harder.  I'd be willing to lay a bet that when Joni IS painting, or
concentrating hard, she isn't smoking much at all.  But as soon as she stops
and relaxes - that's the first thing she reaches for.  Obviously I'm not
anywhere near the talent Joni is (duh!), but I do have that kind of
"compulsive" personality, and when I get fixed on doing something, that's
all I think about - could be 1 hour, could be 16 - but when it's done, that
little packet is the first thing I reach for!  Having said that, though,
it's hard to keep that kind of compulsive energy going for a couple of
weeks, ie. long enough to break the habit!
