Hey, What about Frank Zappa's Joes Garage? It was originally a 3 record
set and by any standards is a great concept album and has some of the most
remarkable music on it Frank ever put down on record. As a concept album, it
comes across as very intelligent and humorous (as much of his work falls in
my opinon) and a better concept than The Who's Tommy (eventhought that
record {not a triple, i know} is remarkable in its own right, just not as
great as the zappa album IMHO) Also, there is Frank's SHut up and Play Yer
Guitar.
