I was just writing to a couple others about this ;-) We're thinking maybe
sometime next (Northern Hemisphere) winter when people are craving the sun.
If you plan it right, Hawaii is pretty inexpensive to fly to from just about
anywhere in the U.S. and Canada. I've made a new vow to go at least once a
year like I used to do. A house would be great, but there are also some
condo buildings on the beach where you can rent out practically the whole
place ;-) very cheaply so more people can be accomodated and we needn't
worry about bothering anyone. It also might be attractive for those who
want to bring along the family or significant others (and help sweeten the
idea of going away to a jmdl gathering ;-D I guarantee it would be a
fantastic place for us to get together.
