And now to answer your questions:
Jonifest are get-togethers for list members. Lots of people getting to know
each other first hand, playing music, drinking martinis, eating nice food,
and generally having the time of their lives on the other side of the world
from me! Recordings of the last two are available, and are well worth a
listen - the next best thing to being there!
The tape trees come around every so often - and are made up of unreleased
Joni material. They start with a "branch" who make copies for their
"leaves" in all areas of the world. There is no tape tree circulating at
the moment, but if you ask very nicely, I'm sure someone will be able to
hook you up with back-copies, for the price of postage and blanks. A damn
good deal - and a lot cheaper than Ebay!
The archives pretty much equal the tape trees. And as well as tape trees,
there are video trees also, with TV appearances, film footage etc.
