i agree absolutely guys!
this movie impressed me so much. i had heard from friends in college (that
i loveingly nicknamed "the craft":) that this movie is superb (in Aine's
words...the best film since fight club....big praise coming form Aine!!).
one evening we just happened to go see Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.
IT works on so many different levels. not only does it appeal to the
romantic side (Chris if you're reading, i DO have a romantic side
sometimes, lol), but it grips the imaginaiton and brings you on a flight of
imagination that, although surreal, is somewhat superb.
i came out this one just wanting to be a sword warrior:-)
and then came Hannibal! i loved it! and it isn't as gorey as i'd been lead
to believe, so i was a little disappointed on thta front. plus, the guy
infront of destroyed the end of the film by making a two minute monologue
about the end of the film, 15 minutes before the end!!!!!! aaggghhh!
anyway, if you haven't seen CTHD (or Billy Elliott for that matter) you
definitely should. ang lee really deserved the BAFTA that Kate Winslet gave
him the other day.
