<< OMG OMG OMG When will this one be availbale Bob????
Jeff Buckley was one of the most talented artists to arrive in the nineties,
and this is one of those Joni tracks that i just love! i just knew that
someone would find it eventually! i searched everywhere for it myself! i
even had friends onto that one, lol! >>
Look for about a mid-March release on that one, (Volume 15) Garrett...and all
thanks to Philip, the uber-hound of the covers world, and doing it all from
the coast of Ireland - go figga! :~)
Philip wasn't bowled over by Jeff's take on PP, while I find it ragged and
enchanting in that Jeff Buckley way. There's a female vocal on this one
too...Philip, do we know who the vocalist is? It sounds a little like Jane
Siberry...
Anyway, one of a number of really cool covers awaiting on #15. If you haven't
contacted John your Dutch Uncle yet for #14, go ahead and get in line, he'll
be back on the 8th and hopefully will have enough work to keep him out of
trouble!
And speaking of covers hounds, those who peruse the used vinyl section of
your record shop, keep an eye peeled for Glenn Miller's "Do You Wanna Dance".
Apparantly it's rare because when I've found it it's been very expensive. Of
course, the cover in question is BSN!
