<<Well, at MSG in NYC, Bob rocked! He brought the house down during Maggie's Farm!
People were dancing in the aisles. It was awesome. >>
Rose, sweetie, darling, dearest Rose, you missed my point, so I'll try again.
I will preface it by saying that Bob Dylan is one of the greatest singer-songwriters
that ever lived. He even influenced Joni; she says when she heard "You've got a lot of
nerve to say that you're my friend", it opened her eyes to the possibilities of what
one could write about in the pop arena.
Blood On The Tracks is one of the greatest records ever recorded by anyone.
Bob's '98 tour was very successful and received rave reviews.
In Atlanta, he also rocked, had the crowd going apeshit, dancing around and
experiencing multiple eargasms...blah, blah...
MY POINT WAS...Dylan's show was radically different stylistically than Joni's. Joni
was subtle and intimate, Dylan was raucous. Like a ballet in one ring and a lion tamer
in the other...
I love wine AND greasy burgers as well!! And no, not JUST Boone's Farm!! ;~)
