Good chaser, yes. I enjoyed the contrast between them, champagne and beer,
introversion and concentration with Joni and dancing in the aisles and smoking
funny stuff second-hand with Bob. I was very glad I'd stayed to see him once I
got used to the sudden increase in the noise and energy level. Couldn't
understand anything he said and barely recognized the classic songs I'm
familiar with, but it was thrilling experiencing two legends on the same night.

I enjoyed that MSG concert more than seeing Joni all by herself. The BSN
audience was almost too respectful a crowd, and there was that orchestra sound
lulling me to sleep too. Great being in the same space as Joni though. No
matter what she's doing, she's a magical performer; no complaints there.

NP: National tv news; mentally preparing myself for watching the selected
president give his first State of the Union address tonight. I can't wait until
he busts out laughing during one of his speeches and says, "gotcha, fooled you,
hahahahahaha." I get ready for it every time that little snickering expression
shows on his face while he's acting sincere. Maybe tonight he'll let loose with
the truth.
