speaking of children and earthquakes, here's a report
from my 6 year-old god son (they live in olympia):
He said he and his friend took off running across the
field ( after they saw a big piece of the school
building come smashing to the ground by where
they were playing!) and he was excitedly explaining
how they could jump and the ground was springing them
up higher than they have ever been able to jump
before!!!
a testament to the resiliency of children? my god son
has kind of a crazy nature, and it appears he thought
the quake was really cool.
made me laugh, and cry.
