I just feel weepy with love and gratefulness at being part of this list. For
some reason today I felt like we are all in a dark tent in sleeping bags
cuddled up at the great Joni Mitchell Slumber Party (in our DREAMS!). We can
lay there with our eyes closed and listen to the great pontificators and
experts tell us the history or minutiae we crave. We can contribute any
inane or seemingly insignificant comment or question without judgement or
fear. We get our queeries answered and often with huge amounts of
information and thoughtful analysis food-for-brains. We can drift off to
dreamland and always return to the warm love that is ever present in this
love fest. Meanwhile, Jonimom is in the big house making us all hot
chocolate, listening and laughing and always appreciating us, her loyal
children. This is the perfect family.
