I'm not familiar with them - maybe got there too late in the 70s. I
remember that Windrose by the beach was the only place I could stand to go
disco ;-) There was another small music place on 2nd Avenue in Belmont
Shores that we went to but I can't recall the name. Can't believe I missed
the Joni mural!

>Did you ever attend the St. Patrick's Day parade from Kelley's Bar in
Naples to an Irish >bar in Seal Beach or was it vise versa.

LOL - "The Irisher" in Seal Beach was an infamous dive that I never dared to
enter. But one St. Patrick's Day I felt adventurous and asked 3 hunky
neighbor guys to escort me in. Oooo, talk about crusty! Ancient beachrats
with parrots on their shoulders, a few sailors and some other characters who
looked like they hadn't left their seat in 30 years. Think I lasted about 15
minutes. In later years some of the old atmosphere was lost when the
yuppie'fied Hennessey's Tavern moved in across the street but the Irisher
was still hanging in last time I was there. I'm sure we crossed paths in
the old days!
