Yes indeedy, Ian...on the 1983 "My Top 12" BBC radio show, she played Edith's 
"LesTrois Cloches" and spoke of the strong influence Piaf had on her singing.

In many other interviews Joni mentions her connection to Piaf. That's what made me 
think of the "Edith" connection...
