>OK, I'm always up for a challenge, what about:
I give it a go Hell:
The Swingers: One hit wonders in Australia with a song called
Counting the Beat, now used as an advertising jingle for a local
chain store.
The Crocodiles: Wasnt this one of the groups (jazz?) in which Bruno
Lawrence played? (Do you remember BLERTA or was this too early for
you?)
DD Smash and Th'Dudes: Two of the great Dave Dobbyns early groups.
The Exponents: Heard the name but dont know anything about.
Ardijah: Never even heard of. Youve got me on this one!
The Netherworld Dancing Toys: Know the name but not the music. Were
they one of the many Dunedin bands?
The Warratahs: I have heard some of their music a country rock band
if I remember correctly and a good one at that!
Supergroove: Nope. Got me again!
When The Cat's Away: Ditto!
Dianne Swann (who incidentally reminds me a LOT of Jonatha Brooks, and
vice
versa): Heard the name but not the music.
Well, Hell, I guess you were right! Not exactly a great score on my
part.
Cheers,
John.
