Just a further heads-up, according to a Rounder Records ad in the new
Performing Songwriter the new Laura Nyro CD can be ordered NOW by phone.
Also of interest, Shawn Colvin is on the cover of the new issue, and I
must say the show I attended at The Bottom Line on Tuesday night was
AWESOME. Shawn did mostly the new CD, which I have an illicit advance
copy of and is WONDERFUL!!!, plus she played my request ("Four Season's
In One Day"), and also let her 2 year old sing "Itsy Bitsy Spider" and
"Somewhere Over The Rainbow". The dress was a little odd, as Shawn's
outfits tend to be...other highlights? John Leventhal has a NICE ASS!
