hey everybody,
I've really enjoyed the posts over the past few days. Very uplifting.
I love the way this group bans together when there's a problem. Everyone's
words are so encouraging! Some post in particular-Mags, Kakki, Pas, Emily,
The B'day Fairy, and Bob (man can u research!)
I cant remember who said it, but something about how this list emulates
life. It is so true. My favorite saying: Life is made up of hills and
valleys. We just happen to be in a valley.
All the discussions on muscic-all genres is just amazing. The
knowledge and friendships everyone shares is also, amazing. Someone said
about 600 people being in a room and different personalities...this is why I
joined.
Now, the real reason I'm writing, today, is to ask a music question.
(for those of you who have stuck with me) What can anyone tell me about the
"Meat Puppets"? Specifically, what songs did they do on "Unplugged"?
One more thing to verify the greatness of this list. The generosity
of the members to educate those of us who are not as knowledgeable is
unbelievable. When the high school and music student wrote in last week or
so, and everyone was so gracious to share information or just take the time
to acknowledge them. All the offers of tape trees, videos, etc.
UNBELIEVABLE! Thanks for letting me be a part of this group.
