Made you open the post, didn't I? ;-) I just thought for a moment, with all the firestorm of firm belief "on the left and right", (to quote some folk singer you folks may have heard of) that I'd try and chart us a course back to the relatively safe waters of political discussion. So come on folks ... think of it as Survivor. We'll divvy up into two dialectically opposed tribes. One can be the "Imperialist Pigdogs", and the other say, "Minions of the Proletarian Dictatorship." We can talk about paradigms, and zeitgeist, use words like "conflate" and "signifier" ... it'll be just like the good ole college days, when we all took our Derrida, Foucault and Rand VERY seriously ...
