Yes,you will, but unfortunately (like anything worth
waiting for!), it doesn't happen overnight.  Your
callusses (calluses?  calli?) will probably hurt like
hell for a week or two, and then one day, it'll all
seem normal and the pain will be gone.

It's a pain in the ass because you have to keep
retuning the durn guitar, and it can't be healthy for
it, but, once you start getting that Joni sound, you
won't care!
