I had my first official guitar lesson today! Oh my Gawd. Am I ever going to
have the dexterity I need in these not so nimble fingers? My music teacher is
a guy and his name is Les. Now I know three people with that first name, and
yes all being males. He asked me what I listened to and I told mostly Joni.
He said that he thought that she was probably the best music writers that
ever lived. I think we're going to get along marvelously :~) He said he'd
teach me some Joni stuff, but not in her open tunings. No, not quite yet, but
eventually. So I guess there's my incentive. I'll keep you posted.
