For the same reason they must only get underfoot when you're in a hurry, and
that they must demand dinner (as annoyingly as possible) at 6pm, even though
they have no intention of eating it until at least 9.00.
Hell - wishing she had a copy of the rule book, so she could make a few
"minor" alterations, like removing the clause (claws?!) that says that cats
must only sleep in the exact centre of the bed.
