Be thankful you don't live here!  I HATE listening to the radio,
particularly in the mornings, when for every song on the commercial stations
(usually top 20 only), you get 10 minutes worth of ads.  Recently my tape
player in the car decided to die, leaving me with the radio.  I now listen
to Sports Radio which is commentary, interviews and talk-back.  I love it,
and I'm more informed that I was, but I want my tape deck back!

There are alternative stations, but they don't play the kind of music I
like, and there's no "skip" or "fast-forward" function!  Honestly, my stress
levels go up exponentially if I have to listen to crappy music first thing
in the morning!
