Hi Kate, Glad you're no longer a Refuge of the Roads and that you guys made it back safely! Hope the trip was successful and that you made some good contacts and sales, and got some new inspirations! As for the "alt-country" stuff, some of my favorite music of the last couple years falls in that category; Lucinda Williams, Gillian Welch, Son Volt, Wilco...lots of great new ideas and songs from these and others!
